I’m personally into using SwiftKey.
The predictions are amazing. But maybe I should give Swype another shot!

Moved on to TouchPal Curve. Way better accuracy and their correction and prediction is just a country mile ahead of anything else. Will wait to see if the new Swype can beat that.

I just paíd $22.85 for an íPad 2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her her Panasoníc Lumíx GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.78 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $625 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. ah yes. like any software… remember back when Angry Birds was released? Remember the Angry Birds Beta? … Yeah neither do I. placing a title of beta on a piece of software makes me think that Swype is too cheap to invest time and money into testing their software.

Other than the fact that it’s still in “beta”, which at this point i don’t even know what that means since every time i’ve used it has always been VERY stable, I hate how I have to install an installer to install swype.

Uh, it is. Various phones have the stable releases preinstalled. Like any software, they release betas to widespread users to test for bugs that their in-house testing may not catch.

Go to swype.com and i think you have to email them through there (brian) but theyre good about helping. with the new release it might take him a few days though

Yes. I’m pretty sure you’ll need root access, but after that you just need to know what files to rip out lol. I think G. Paul U.’s link provided above has the details.
