The bad news is that my Xoom is now acting crazy in that won’t let me put Widgets where I would like. Weird. Sucks.

I have a 3G capable Xoom that I have never actually used the 3G on. All day today, I have been manually checking for the update, to no avail. But I turned off my Xoom, restarted it, checked again and sure enough I got the update. Try it, might work for you.

Did the manual update and it works awesome. so much faster for typing and love the hdmi features that were optimized.

I didnt even have to unlock my bootloader or root

3G. I found that post referring to the wifi version, but, used it on the update file that was posted in the update on this post. Worked fine. Make SURE to flash the RIGHT file. :D The one that was posted on this post is for the 3G.
