Do you even have the phone? Every phone reaches EOL. Name one smartphone that came put around the the time of the fascinate and is still active. You cant, because thats not how the mobile industry works, sonny. Unless your RIM and don’t release phones, ever.

The Droid 1 was good, as was the Incredible, and they’re EOL–they’re old. So’s the Fascinate. I’m not saying the Fascinate _is_ good, but your logic sucks.

that has nothing to do with the phone. I have a fascinate and i don’t have a single problem, never any bugs, least laggy phone i have ever seen, never crashes, and stupid fast. i know several people who have the Droid X and are miserable with it because literally nothing works on it, even after 2.3. The GPS works better than there’s also. The problem isnt the phone, its whatever you have been installing to it and your lack of the ability to maintain and protect your phone correctly

As poor as the Fascinate has been with Touchwiz, I would be so happy to see Samsung not ship another phone to VZW. Unless that phone was a Google Phone in the first place. I learned my lesson. Stick to the Droid branded ones.

Summed up this phone perfectly- missed calls/texts, no GPS, bad/slow updates. Sounds like a real winner to me. Maybe I’ll take this fascinating phone to Vegas.
If the phone was so good, Verizon would not have canned it.

Man, my sentiments exactly.

Galaxy S II debuts at MWC in mid February. Galaxy S II gets released about 2 months later in Europe/Korea. It’s looking like the US will wait until September to see it, which is approaching 4 and a half months after it’s initial release.

That’s crazy, considering it went from show floor to hands in less than half that amount of time.
