Best idea, go down to your local Verizon store and play with them, it’s the only real way to get a feel for which one you’ll prefer. I do think the Thunderbolt is better but its battery life is just poor. You could also get a bigger battery for it though. Honestly, if you can wait about a month longer that’s about when the Bionic will be coming out.

If the app simply acts like a network monitor to see how much data is being sent to each app BY ITSELF..that would be something id get. But to trust a company ive never heard of to route all my usually un or little encrypted app data (app devs suck on this) through their servers and do who knows what with it….? no thanks.

Hey guys, I hope you can help me out here. I have been patiently waiting for the Galaxy S2 to land on Verizon but with the new pricing taking effect on the 7th I can no longer wait. I’m coming from a BlackBerry so I’ve been itching to get on Android for a long time. So looks like I’m going to have to buy a phone in the next two weeks. So my question is T-bolt or Charge. I’m leaning towards the T-bolt because I really don’t like the Charge but I’m apprehensive about the battery life on the T-bolt but Gingerbread should straighten things up right?

There is a lot to consider before trying out this service. Privacy becomes a concern because all of your data is being routed through a single service. Unless the data is encrypted, there is potential for misuse. Battery life becomes a concern because there is extra processing power used to compress and decompress (and possibly encrypt and decrypt) the data streams, though this may be mitigated by spending less time sending a receiving data. Throughput is also a concern because every proxy I’ve ever used slows down my data connection. They become a bottleneck especially during periods of high network usage.

Perhaps the developer can weigh in with some comments?

Have unlimited, but looks like that is going away from everyone not on Sprint… so best be prepared
