That hump is rather ugly. Only someone who is so pathetic that they need to insult others for not liking what they paid $200 for to justify their purchase would claim ot like the design of the X. It’s a stupid piece of crap, should’ve just been given a bigger battery to flatten out. Makes it top-heavy and annoying to pocket. Also, impossible to lay flat on a table. Worse than Apple’s stupid curved backs on the iPad and iPod Touch.

also the atrix is definitely not the same thing. just because the “specs” look the same does not mean the internals are equivalent.

obviously there was no official statement, however the rumor heard from the testers was that it had serious issues. I think they were intrinsic to the hardware design and it was decided to be cheaper to just replace with a different device, rather than go through a redesign.
