I own both the thunderbolt and the wifi xoom and I can definitely tell you that the xooms screen is indeed a disappointment. The thunderbolt is not over saturated, it displays beautiful and very vibrant colors. The xooms problem is not lack of brightness. It is lack of contrast. While it seems very capable of displaying very dark blacks, the brighter colors just look a little washed out. Still a nice screen though, especially when I learned to hold it not so darn close to my face lol

While i agree w/ the statement about the GalaxyTab being over saturated (that g-mail icon almost looks orange) i don’t think the TBolt falls in with that statement. I just picked up my and had a closer look at the g-mail icon again; its a solid red with deeper tones. TBolt is very bright, but i don’t find it to be over saturated.

Reason for difference in screen is that these are different screens . Xoom has plain old LCD while GT 10.1 has SPLS display. Your’re welcome.
