Reliable insiders have been saying for quite awhile that it will be 3G only. If it hasn’t already been made clear by the Thunderbolt along with the delay on the Bionic, 4G on phones isn’t completely ready for prime time. They need more completely capable phones out there until the kinks all get worked out. If they were releasing nothing but 4G phones in the near future, Verizon’s record of reliability would suffer tremendously as more and more people experienced considerable problems.
