Interesting. I love all the developers out there that have taken their time to port things, and create the rom goodies we've enjoyed, but I've noticed that there really isn't any 100% working roms any more. I wonder if it'll only get harder...

I have tried numerous times to get RC2 to load, but it hangs at the CM7 Logo Bootup animation. I've tried before and after wiping to stock (root only), etc. I've used CM7 RC1, but now I don't think I'm even able to get that one to load. So weird, as I've flashed many of the custom roms.

For the fsck fix I posted earlier, run it twice in a row. That should get you good to go even after a reboot.
Right now, in RC2 There is an issue with the vold system and formating the sdcard. Due to some hardware numbering conflicts there is a chance that it will attempt to format your /data instead of /sdcard. If it does this you will get bootloops, because /data will be the wrong filesystem.

The fixes for the fsck, and the formating issue were merged late last night. (Read ~6 hours after RC2) So any builds after this morning should be good.

As for the USB lockups with USB Debugging. I believe (may be wrong) that its an issue with how the USB ids are presented to the host system. I think windows is having issues with this, and linux/mac osx are not. (again I could be wrong)

quote from slayer for the sd card issue if anyone is having.
