No point in getting 4g when everytime i ask verizon when 4g will be available in my area they say don’t have clue…wtf lol

Motorola and verizon had nothing to do with it. In order to get Google’s help in releasing the first honeycomb tablet, the companies involved had to agree to make it a google experience device, like the Nexus S.

I’d be willing to bet that the next Moto/Verizon tablet is locked up. And so will the Droid Bionic.i

I just heard from a verizon rep that they will upgrade even if you are not verizon plan its a stipulation from motorola not verizon wireless as long as you send to motorola within the 6 months from the date you purchased it. Sp there you go

Haha, did you attend a jesuit college? I think 4G upgrade implies radio AND software. If not then maybe i will just tape a LTE radio to my iphone and claim it’s 4g.

No its not on data plan because I’m going to wait for 4g to come out. Plus I hope that they upgrade mine without giving me a hard time cause motorol CEO came out and made a comment saying the price is justifying because its upgradeable to 4g so yeah I hope or I’m starting shit if they don’t upgrade mine for free or they should be able to refund me money for making false statements

If i return to stock, submit for the 4g lte upgrade and then get it back , will i still be able to unlock and root or will moto use this chance to remove this? Also it says verizon wireless customers may submit theirs in for the 4g lte, does this mean those that didnt get one on a data plan cant upgrade to 4g? i realize they wouldnt be able to use it until they joined verizon or something but shouldnt all xooms be eligible not just verizons?

Is there some kind of cool aid that I haven’t ingested with Droid lovers? I have had all the Droids and Apple products and while Apple will never give up their proprietary hold on their products, they still do not release products with key components not working??? Say what you want, if they are not going to do it then don’t. They release what they think is best and DO NOT advertise a product with all types of extras like a SD card and say oh by the way “you’ll get that later, and oh and we just dont know how later” LOL
