I get 100+ hour uptimes, usually the only time the phone reboots is if I flash a new kernel and need the recovery.
Cyanogen RC1 just rebooted when I uninstalled an app. You should give OMFGB 1.1.1 an openminded try one more time around.

I downloaded Weather & Toggle Widget and use that for the same effect. There are a ton of different skins for it so you can personalize it as you see fit. I’m partial to Dirty Paper I believe it’s called.
