Best Buy employee (Chad) told me that the Thunderbolt will be available on the 28th in the Asheville, NC store (Tunnel Rd) on the 28th. I’m number 3 in the pre-order queue.

I don’t understand why apple products have this bizarre effect on retailers and product reviewers. Why is it that perfectly sane and rational people become complete dilholes when an apple product is nearby?

“Our first 4G phone? Screw it! Sure the iphone is slower with a lower quality camera on the front and the back, and sure it’s 3G only, incapable of global roaming, and already a year old, but its the iPHONE!”

I just don’t get it. Its old news, and the iphone5 will come out this summer anyways.

You guys are idiots. At CES, VZW said ‘some as early as March’. Everything else that has ‘fortold’ an earlier date has been purely speculation. Don’t get mad with VZW because they’re not saying anything. Be pissed at everyone else for spouting rumors and then constantly flip-flopping on them. When they have an official, irrevocable date, they’ll release it. Until then, shut up!

So then does this effect the best buy release date? If best buy had the exclusive right to sell it first then would amazon or verizon even be selling it on the 14th anyways? I pre-ordered at best buy and the guy said they would have them in on the 14th for sure. AHHHHHHH! This is frustrating
