I have 2 Androids and they are both between OK and very cool in most ways (except battery life). I'd say the HTC Evo 3D is definitely better than OK. Why do I have two? I'm a software developer working on both iOS and Android projects, so I actually have more than 2, I also have an iPhone 4, 2 iPads and 3 other iPhones that I have passed on to family members (or retired to my sock drawer).
Android? Nice. iPhone? still in a class by itself. Between better and far better in most ways except for no 4G. 4G hasn't made a big difference yet, I definitely get what I need out of 3G and wifi. I enjoy developing for both Android and iPhone, but Android is quite a pain in some ways, having to worry about code working well on such a wide variety of phones and processors is one of the biggest pains. I like the competition. Go for it Google. The world is a better place for it. But the smart phone in my pocket is still an iPhone.

Personally, I have owned the HTC Droid Incredible, Moto Droid Pro and a number of Blackberry's as well as practically every other kind of smartphone model on Sprint and Verizon totaling more than ten years of constant cell service in Texas. NOW, I own a Verizon iPhone. I sold my Droid Pro to get it. Biggest MISTAKE I have ever made people. This device is NOT all that. WHY are we all so adamant that the iPhone is the device to compare and beat? And must have? Its not!
I had to jailbreak the damn thing to be able to add ring tones for gods sake! You cant skin it, customize it, etc, etc, etc. Apple has this device locked down to the point that its useless without Jail breaking, which voids your warranty?
I absolutely 100% WILL SWITCH BACK TO ANDROID. Apple is a JOKE the device is garbage, over rated, glorified and just SUCKS, Period!
The choice I made to drop Android for the "Fruity Phone" was a mistake. There are just to many limits, rules and restrictions. .U can Keep your iPhone, piss on ya if u don't like it.. Droid DOES, nuff said :)

Iphones are girly phones! Android blows them away. Iphones have the coolness factor and thats it. The Androis system is completely customizable and offers way more options. If Steve Jobbs would get out of the way, maybe Apple could step it to the next level, but until then they will be a couple of steps behind!

can we just be honest. the real reason that the iphone new models arrive every 16 months is because thier estimated battery life is 18 months.. Think about it you cannot replace an iphone battery. When the battery dies you need a new model. Hence the 16 month life cycle. As for which is better who really knows, i may like squash you may not. If you are going to compare specs the droid wins. you wanna compare users like or evern apps available then the winner will be different.

All the antennas on every site must be changed, tma's must be changed, all the coex cable changed, so keep thinking on 4g its still in the process.
