i mean, if motorola was concerned about security issues instead of legal crap and just flexing its muscles, they would _never_ release their source code.

for malicious hackers, looking to exploit and steal info, having the source code is all you need, the bootloader is meaningless to them

again; this is confirmation that motorola doesn't care about your security, the only care about seeming powerful in the face of cookers and homebrewers.

From what I've read it was removed from the Market shortly after the Froyo update due to unforseen issues. I also recall reading he had placed it back on the market briefly over the weekend, and than quickly removed it. If you can find it on the Market, prove me wrong.

Is this also gimped? I think if i remember correctly they released SOME of the source for 2.1, but was missing critical parts for unlocking the boot loader.
