I am facing some issue with this is that I have is the application is huge at over 8 MB. When using a device that forces you to ye such a small internal memory then apps over 5 MB become a luxury some can’t afford.

Try Smart Keyboard Pro. I’ve been using it for a long time now. It lets you customize the keyboard and one of the layouts is the iPhone keyboard. I went with the HTC layout, though. I.love.not.having.the.tiny.spacebar.anymore!

Choice means Work to the lazy and simple minded. I had a lady with and iPhone look at my Android and all of the customization options that were available to me and said, that, “It is too complicated! I just want a simple phone and the iPhone is simple enough for me!”

There’s no way. They don’t allow better keyboards in the app store. Heck, they banned google voice for “doing things the iPhone already does” (we all know the iPhone doesn’t do what google voice does). There’s no way Steve Jobs would let it into the app store, as he would have to admit that the stock keyboard isn’t good enough for some people. That is something Apple will never admit.

Iphone users dont look over your shoulder to see how well your phone takes input, trust me. Which means unless Google gets into iphoneland they will never get exposed to Google unless Apple wants them to.
