  • I don’t know what it is but since Android 11 on pixel 3 xl I can’t take screenshots.

  • Nice! Between the feature drops and these timely security updates, the Pixel line is as compelling as always.

  • Oh cool, they updated while LEAVING EVERY SINGLE PIXEL DEVICE ON 11 WITHOUT A FUNCTIONING BLUETOOTH F*@&#ING AUDIO THAT WORKS.

Congrats Google, it’s like you guys WANT people to leave you. I’m on the last straw with Google here. This is the CFB equivalent of “lack of institutional control”. They control the Pixel devices, yet STILL manage to break and fail to test basic functionality.

      • not entirely fake… I had lots of random little issues with my Pixel 3xl and 4xl… in my opinion the 2xl was probably the best phone they created aside from the blue shifting screen issues lol…

    • “Every single Pixel” seems like quite the exaggeration considering I haven’t had any Bluetooth issues with my Pixel 2 XL since I bought it in 2018. No issues on the 11 Betas, 11 Release, or the update from today. My fitbit, car, and Bluetooth wireless earbuds all sync/play fine.

    • I had poor bluetooth audio on the first release. This update has fixed that for my headphones.

  • Is that “Fix for undetected overview swipe gesture in launcher” for when you can’t access your multitasking cards? I hope so because that’s fucking annoying. Even more so than getting rid of the Android 10 way of doing it.

    • Theyre too fucking busy breaking core functionality like Bluetooth audio on EVERY LAST PIXEL.

It’s absolutely insane how much money the make, yet they cant test even the basic fucking functions. I’m so through with this fucking bullshit company.

iPhones sure are looking good right now and I’ve been a die-hard Android person since day 1.

      • Ive been an Android Fan from day 1 as well and the Pixel 4XL almost made me wanna jump ship to Apple for the same reason..

Paying top dollar for a Pixel and having soo many silly little issues, screen problems,Bluetooth issue etc etc etc…. i decided to give Android one more chance and jumped to the Samsung side of Android and there is no going back to Nexus/Pixel line for me..Samsung knows how to build a quality phone and with some fun little software tweaks here and there i get 90% of the pixel functionality without any of the drawbacks.

Pixel phones just have soo many little flaws and annoyances that just make it feel unpolished and more like a toy rather than a daily usable product.

        • Except then your choices are curved screen or mid-range phone. I’m typing this on my Note 10+, but I’m officially done putting up with curved screens. They suck balls and Sammy needs to get the clue. Seems they *almost* did with the S20’s, then curved the shlt out of the Note20 Ultra – again (and don’t even mention the stupid reg Note20 that exists for no other reason than to get people to buy the Ultra instead).

Between Sammy curving every one of their flagship screens and Google going mid-range with their flagships. Oneplus curves their flagships now too and to an even greater extent (a long gradual curve is way worse than a short sharp one) or get the T which never gets wireless charging…might actually start looking at LG again, jesus.

I hate the current smartphone landscape, it’s enough to tempt me over to the devil ????.

      • How does this post get through yet I’ll say the f word once in a post and I get the “hold on, we need to get approval for your post” message?

  • To prevent the unnecessary comments about I don’t see the update yet…..Google always pushes the over-the-air updates at 2pm ET on the first Monday of each month. So you have 40 minutes until you need to smash that update button
