The official YouTube app for Android has been updated with an Incognito Mode this morning, available in what should be app versionĀ 13.25.56 and newer.

With this mode enabled, you can browse and watch YouTube videos while leaving no virtual trail, at least through the YouTube app itself. When enabling, YouTube reminds you that activity may still be tracked by your ISP, employer, or school.

To turn it on, ensure you have the latest version of YouTube from Google Play (version number referenced above), then enable it from the Settings menu of the app. After switched on, you’re off to the races.
