In November of last year, we learned about plans for Disney to launch an ESPN+ sports streaming service. Basically, it’s a service where viewers can access live sports and live sports events that aren’t available on other dedicated ESPN channels.

Today, we’re learning a very important detail for this service: Pricing.

According to Disney’s CEO and Chairman Bob Iger, ESPN+ will be priced at $4.99/month.

While pricing is a great start, we’re still also curious on what will be available to watch. As we’re leaning, the ESPN+ platform will feature, “About 10,000 sporting events each year, will have content from the MLB, NHL, MLS, collegiate sports and tennis’ Grand Slam events.”

Enticing enough for you?
