To celebrate all of the things in life we have to be thankful for, we are teaming up with ASUS to giveaway 10 ZenFone 2 smartphone devices. If you need a new smartphone that comes carrier unlocked and features enough power to get you through any type of mobile computing task, then you are in the right place.
Recently through social media, ASUS has been gifting free phones to those in need, and now, we are working together to hook up 10 of our readers. The ZenFone 2 features a 5.5″ Full HD IPS display, 13MP rear-facing camera, 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor with 4GB of RAM, plus 64GB of built-in storage. In fact, we did our own unboxing and hands-on with the ZenFone 2 shortly after it was released for the US. (more…)
It’s time! The DL Football Eliminator Challenge is now open for the 2015 season! For the 5th year in a row, our winner will walk away with a phone of their choice.
For those new to NFL eliminator challenges, they work like this. You pick one winner each week out of all of the games being played. If your team wins, you move on to the next week. Just keep in mind that you can only choose a team one time per season, so there is some strategy involved. With that said, by no means are these challenges as intense as fantasy football or weekly pick’em challenges. This is the simplest form of an NFL challenge you can participate in.
The season kicks off this Thursday (yes, in 2 days), so you will want to sign-up now. We will try our best to remind you throughout the next couple of days to sign-up, though.
There is no cost to you, yet you can win a phone of choice. Ready to sign-up? (more…)
Apologies for us not hosting a Google Play gift card giveaway in a while, but with smartphone release schedules getting moved around this year, we have been a bit busy. To make up for it, we’re going pretty big this time around with $300 in gift cards for 18 different winners. This is probably our biggest gift card giveaway to date. Well, we have given away $300 before, but not to 18 different people.
This time, we are handing out 10 $10 gift cards, along with another 8 $25 gift cards. Your chances of winning are better than they have ever been.
The contest runs from right now until tomorrow morning. When it finishes, we’ll email winners and then send over redemption codes. Within minutes of being chosen, you can begin enjoying free cash.
As always, we went with Rafflecopter to manage the contest. There are a number of ways to enter, so choose which way you find easiest. The more you enter, though, the more chances you have to win.
Remember SanDisk’s sort-of-insane 200GB microSD card that became available a couple of weeks ago? We are about to save one of you $240, thanks to SanDisk, who has offered up a 200GB card as a giveaway prize to one of our readers. (more…)
We have partnered with Plex, the service that allows you to stream your video, music, and photo library across the web via a dedicated media server onto Android devices, to give away 3 Lifetime Plex Passes. These passes are valued at $149, granting you a lifetime membership to Plex and use of its servers.
Personally, as a big fan of Android TV and the Plex app on NVIDIA’s SHIELD, storing a few of my movies on Plex makes watching whatever I want easy. And since Plex is available on all of my Android devices, tablets included, it doesn’t matter where I am to enjoy my content. Also, if you follow Plex news, you should know that they have been rolling out new features left and right.
Want to win a Plex Pass? Let’s do it. (more…)
With Google putting the Nexus 6 on sale through the Google Store, let’s celebrate by giving away two Nexus 6 32GB phones! If you win, you choose the color.
The Nexus 6 is still a great option for those who love unlocked, powerful devices. If you own a Nexus 6, you can even flash the latest Android M developer preview build, allowing you to experience the latest and greatest Android features before anyone else.
Let’s do this. (more…)
Just before Google I/O, we told you that IKEA had begun selling their series of wireless charging pads, lamps, and other accessories in the US. We also told you that we may or may not have a few to giveaway, which as you can tell from this post, is about to happen.
After a quick trip out to the Portland IKEA, we came back with three extra single-spot charging plates (Nordmarke), along with a bigger three-spot charging plate. All will work just fine with your wireless charging-capable device, like a Galaxy S6, Nexus 6, or Nexus 5. They should look quite snazzy in your home as well, since IKEA built these to blend in with furniture, not look like a piece of cheap technology, which I would argue is the approach most wireless charger makers take. Automatic, a company that wants you to become one with your car through an adapter and smartphone app, is hosting a party at next week’s Google I/O and they asked if we could help spread the word by handing out tickets (10 of them!) to our readers, tickets that will also land you their car adapters. Awesome, right? Company doing innovative things with cars and phones wants you to party with them for free in San Francisco and receive free goods – how can you beat that?
The party is sort of like a pre-party for Google I/O in that it goes down the night before Google takes the stage. So on May 27, you can have a little fun before all of the serious stuff takes place and you need to think about code and animations and cloud thingies and compatibility and fragmentation (hah!). There will be “unlimited” drinks (read: open bar), entertainment (like Mario Kart battles), and a bunch of giveaways. Oh, we’ll be there too! (more…)
