In December of 2014, we showed you Minima Pro, a live wallpaper that we really, really enjoyed. The app allows users to create there own theme, as well as choose between plenty of pre-defined themes. Recently, an update was pushed out to Minima that lets users browse through user-created themes for wallpapers, bringing hundreds of different options right to your home screen.
To celebrate this update, we have been gifted 50 promo codes to the Pro version of the Minima app from the developer, and we are ready to give them away to our readers. Entering the giveaway is extremely simple, as we are using the Rafflecopter platform to make it fair and straightforward.
You can check out the app and the update by following the Google Play link. However, if you would like a chance at receiving the app for free and saving a couple of bucks, follow the instructions below. (more…)
Last week, we told you about this newish keyboard called Chrooma Keyboard. The keyboard stood out to us because it mimics the Google Keyboard, yet adds to the brilliance of Google’s keyboard by deploying an adaptive coloring scheme feature that automatically adjusts the color of the keyboard to the app you are currently using. It’s a fun trick that makes your typing experience that much more entertaining.
Outside of the color changing, Chrooma Keyboard also excels because you can add a permanent number row, adjust the keyboard’s size, and even allow it to adjust the color to a night mode when lighting is dim. It’s a really cool, yet simple keyboard. Today, we are doing just that.
After sharing our thoughts on Chrooma, the team behind it asked if we wanted to giveaway 50 promo codes for it to the Droid Life community. We, of course, said of course! (more…)
Waaaaay back in October, we featured an app called Backdrops, a wallpaper app with a Material Design focus that was pushing out daily ‘papers, collections, the ability to share your own with the app’s community, and an incredibly clean appearance. It’s a really nice wallpaper app.
This week, the team behind it released a big update that introduces Google sign-in, so you can now sync your favorites across all of your devices. This is one of those features that multi-device owners will surely appreciate. While unrelated in content form, this was my reason for switching to ParcelTrack for package tracking. Device sync is a big deal, especially as many of us migrate from device to device, whether that’s between personal devices only or work and personal. (more…)
Ummm, so, apparently you guys really like cases. What do you say we give away a bunch of the cases we have lying around the Droid Life offices to those that are in need of one? I just counted out a box full and I’m coming up with at least 80 that you need to take off my hands. Seriously, you can see them all in the image above.
Right now, I have a pile of cases lying in my office for phones like the Galaxy S6 and Edge (+ too), Note 5 and 4, LG G3 and G4, Nexus 6 and 5, and HTC One M9. I even have a couple of random cases, like an Incipio battery pack case for the original Moto X, an Alto leather case for the iPhone 6, and car charger/shell combo fo the Blackberry Priv.
The cases you’ll find in this giveaway are from your favorite case brands too, like Spigen and Ringke, but you’ll find some official Nexus cases as well. Some have been briefly reviewed or fondled for a few minutes, but most are brand new and have never been out of the box. I hope if you win one and it has been touched by a finger or two, you won’t mind. After all, it’s a free case.
So what do you say? Who wants a free case? (more…)
At the end of last week, we wrote up a quick review on Tronsmart’s Titan 5-Port Quick Charge 2.0 Hub. It’s one of those products that doesn’t really have any major flaws to talk about because all it wants to do is simultaneously charge five of your devices really, really fast. And it does that at a pretty affordable price.
To follow-up the review, we have a bunch to give away to you, thanks to the folks over at Tronsmart. In fact, we have 30 of them to hand out internationally. Typically, our giveaways are US-only because it’s just easier. However, Tronsmart insists on doing it internationally by also picking up the shipping tab. Pretty sweet, right? (more…)
Did you know that you can email Google Play gift cards to people in $10, $15, $20, $25, $50, and $100 increments? Well, you can! And because you can, we decided it is once again time to give a bunch away to you. In fact, we’ll hand out a total of $250 in Google Play gift cards within the next 24 hours. Sound good? (more…)
To celebrate all of the things in life we have to be thankful for, we are teaming up with ASUS to giveaway 10 ZenFone 2 smartphone devices. If you need a new smartphone that comes carrier unlocked and features enough power to get you through any type of mobile computing task, then you are in the right place.
Recently through social media, ASUS has been gifting free phones to those in need, and now, we are working together to hook up 10 of our readers. The ZenFone 2 features a 5.5″ Full HD IPS display, 13MP rear-facing camera, 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor with 4GB of RAM, plus 64GB of built-in storage. It’s time! The DL Football Eliminator Challenge is now open for the 2015 season! For the 5th year in a row, our winner will walk away with a phone of their choice.
For those new to NFL eliminator challenges, they work like this. You pick one winner each week out of all of the games being played. If your team wins, you move on to the next week. Just keep in mind that you can only choose a team one time per season, so there is some strategy involved. With that said, by no means are these challenges as intense as fantasy football or weekly pick’em challenges. This is the simplest form of an NFL challenge you can participate in.
The season kicks off this Thursday (yes, in 2 days), so you will want to sign-up now. We will try our best to remind you throughout the next couple of days to sign-up, though.
There is no cost to you, yet you can win a phone of choice. Ready to sign-up? (more…)
