We are still a few days away from HTC’s unveiling of the HTC 10, but since when has that ever stopped the Android community from getting their hands on the goodies? In the latest release of intel, a well known HTC leaker has published a gathering of wallpapers that will be included on the HTC 10. In my own personal opinion, they are way better than anything you will ever find on Samsung device, so here’s your chance to rock them before the phone is even announced. (more…)
Thanks to a forum member who goes by the nick JK Shine (get it?) over at SamMobile, we supposedly have the wallpapers for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. There are 13 in total and they certainly look a lot like Galaxy S wallpapers we have seen in the past. They all feature those sort of swooping brush stroke, sea-ish, futuristic jellyfish designs that we have grown accustomed to with Samsung phones. They also tossed in a couple of Material Design friendly options.
And yes, the wallpaper you are seeing in the renders above, that hilariously looks like a “6” even though these phones are of the S7 line, is included. (more…)

There are 9 wallpapers in total. You’ll find four of them below, along with a .zip full of all 9. (more…)
The OnePlus 2 may not arrive until August 11, but one of their lead OxygenOS designers just handed out the phone’s wallpapers ahead of time to “keep the hype up.” There are supposed to be 27 wallpapers in the bunch, but we’re only counting 25. Still, here are 25 free wallpapers that will probably look good on any device, not just the new OnePlus 2.
Below, we’ve put together a mini preview of the lot, but if you head through the download link, you can grab a .zip of all of the papers in full resolution.
You may not be interested in the OnePlus 2, but who can say “no” to hot wallpapers on a Saturday afternoon? (more…)

So far, app updates are available for Hangouts (available earlier this morning) Google Wallet, Inbox, and Android Wear. While today is not as hectic as last Wednesday in terms of updates, these improvements are certainly welcomed from Google. (more…)
