I installed GrooveIP app from the google play store and VOIP over HSPA works great. I dont have enough information regarding Voice over HSPA to give you any type of knowledgeable response. But I believe it would be Ideal for mobile carrieres to expand HSPA+ and LTE simultaneously so that users could use both or just one or the other are their choice.

What about in the future when most mobile carriers goto VoLTE (Voice over LTE)? So far VoLTE has been proven to be functional and Verizon will begin implementation of it beginning in the end of THIS year while VoHPSA (Voice over HSPA) is just NOW being developed.

I debated waiting for the upgrade, but it was my birthday and couldn’t think of a better gift. I’m glad I didn’t wait because this thing is fricken awesome. I’m giving my iPad2 to my wife (maybe that’s why she bought me the N7, hmmmm).

They are I have both a nexus 4 and 7 which i have rooted and overclocked. Gpu only on nexus 4 and both cpu and cpu on nexus 7. At 1.6GHz the nexus 7 runs gta vice city flawless with no stutter and so does the nexus 4 however stock the nexus 7 does stutter at max settings. overclock your tegra3. That being said im 24 hours of heavy use with a heavily under and overclocked nexus 4. Qualcomm is doing something right

Performance as side though, I think everyone is really just worried because nividia created a ecosystem that is more gaming centric than Qualcomm has. Even though my n7 seems a bit slower than my n4 I still prefer it for gaming for the thd games.

I don’t know if I’d count the Tegra 4 out yet. I’m not sure I see the benefit to a lte nexus 7. Its so easier, and cheaper to just tether your tablet to your phone.

That’s one way to look at it. But another is that a Nexus is always meant to be rooted. If you don’t root you will always miss out on something.

Great news to me. NVidia has been blowing smoke on the Tegra chips for years claiming how great the gaming would be – only to sorely dissapoint. I’ll take Qualcomm all the way.
