They mostly bitch about how iOS has only 4 devies iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPad Mini and the big iPad and how android goes from 3.5 to 5.5 for phones atm and 7.0-10+ for tablets

because i think the service that was bought by Twitter to do Vine was originally just on iOS. So if you already have the app for iOS, why hold onto it and let no one use it until you have an Android version?

now, the company that Twitter bought out could have potentially released to Android first, but who knows when they started developing the app/service. It has only been until recently (last year or so) that android is really been taking over the iOS reign.

It doesn’t matter whether Android is the bigger platform or not. Apple not only have fanboy users, they have fanboy developers as well. Instagram comes to mind even though they eventually made it over to Android. iSheep is the best term for them that I have ever heard. They bleat and follow the crowd wherever it goes, regardless of the direction or eventual outcome.

Exactly! Devs need to get with the times! With each passing day, Android continues to climb the “EPIC CHART” and it’s only a matter of time until devs start realizing that. At least I hope.

Maybe even eventually, devs will begin to make deals to develop exclusively on Android for a limited time, then they’ll port those apps over to the far-less superior OS. Only a matter of time.

But yeah, Vine will probably only support a small amount of phones right out the gate when available on Android. Guess we’ll see.
