Haha. The pictures just make it look like a dwarf is handling a Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note 2.

It just looks like an obscenely big phone. Hope that isn’t true.

The ONLY thing I dislike about my note 2 is that I can’t use the s pen to hit back or menu, and I really shouldn’t be using it to hit home either – probably not good for the pen. It’s not a dealbreaker on a phone, but on a tablet? Yeah, that would be a dealbreaker for me.
Also, on my a500 tablet, the placement of the front camera irritates me to no end – every time I go to use it, my thumbs covering it up. Videochatting in landscape is nearly impossible. I don’t WANT anything on the bezels I’ll be using to hold the device. Especially with Samsung’s uber-sensitive capacitive keys – if be backing out of apps ALL THE FRIGGING TIME!!!
IMHO, I severely hope this is fake, because if it is, I won’t be able to use this device. However, this probably is real, as it matches the leaked renders phandroid posted the other day. So… *sadface*

well nexus 7 is 7 inches and galaxy note is 8 inches. so it’s not the same device. i would love the extra screen estate that an 8 incher gives plus there’s s-pen that allows for super accurate drawing/note taking. if its priced low enough i would say samsung has a winner against the ipad mini. if only the screen resolution was better

They don’t “hog up” screen real estate if programs are made properly. Movie players and games are completely free to cover them up if they want. MX Player and VPlayer work just fine for playing full screen movies.
Why would you want a tactile Home button in a fixed location that is harder to press instead of a soft button that is always at the bottom of your screen no matter how you hold it and just takes the slightest tap to push?
Screen “burn in” does not happen with regular LCDs, only older OLEDs, and the article states that this has a TFT display, so no worries there.
