I agree, but WeatherBug is still the only app that gives me easy access to hourly windchill forecasts, which are crucial for life up here in the deep Midwest.

Works great, have had it for 2 years, even tells you how close lightning strikes from your position with GPS, better than your local news weather reports.

Even if it looks good, WeatherBug is inaccurate, at least in SoCal. AccuWeather is much more accurate.

As someone who actually paid for the Elite version (as the free is ad-sponsored), no, it’s actually a really decent app.

I agree, on the PC it’s not something I’d ever want. On Android though, it’s quite well thought out. After the Weather Channel’s app went from good to awful, I got this instead.

As much as I am annoyed by the style refresh, I’ll keep using it as it has the best radar integration of any weather app I have seen (suggestions welcome on the radar front though).

You should try the app Rainy Days. It’s just a radar and it’s much faster than Weatherbug.

You can tweak Google Now to only give you the notifications you want. Personally I think Google Now would be most useful for someone who travels a lot and has a busy life style. But for your average person who knows their way around and always makes the same commute every day, it’s rather useless.

yea but sometimes it gets annoying and i like WB cuz it has that doppler radar. i need the visual live green cells thingy. google now just gives u a card saying if its gonna rain or not. i NEED to know where the clouds are moving to see if there is rain coming my way

When you live in ND, a good Weather Radar Map app is really nice to have, and this is one of my favorites.

I absolutely hated their Windows desktop program though and that made it really hard for me to even download it to my tablet for the first time.
