Wave IS fantastic.
Truly next gen stuff.
Thankfully google donated the code and it’s now an Apache project with the title “Wave in a Box”.
Fantastic tool for communication/collaboration.

No. Google never once claimed Google+ was supposed to be a FB killer. People who were sick of FB’s crap looking for something better and the tech blogosphere called it a FB killer. G+ is EXACTLY what Google intended it to be. I left FB well over a year ago because it’s ME ME ME ME and not engaging at all. Haven’t looked back not even once.

I had to get rid of Facebook. I got sick and tired of seeing a nonstop barrage of wedding and ultrasound photos. Facebook is so self-indulgent. It’s just “me me me me me”. So petty and not interesting. I enjoy twitter because you can actually follow and discuss topics. And I know a lot of you are thinking “herp but you can do that on Facebook too derp”. Yeah, you can, but nobody does. All it is is look at pictures of me and comment on lame inside jokes. Will you “like” my post? My self esteem depends on it.

It was supposed to be a facebook killer, but since nobody’s friends are on it, its evolved into a place to talk to people and like-minded nerds you don’t actually know
