My beautiful widgets homescreen widget updated today, and now it only displays celcius. I can’t see where in the settings to fix this. Help please?!

You do realize there are zillions of different choices if you don’t like the stock version, not to mention the ability to customize to your heart’s content, right? If you don’t like the look, it’s your own fault for not changing it.

The new update is terrible. It often switches to saying “On Migration,” whatever that’s supposed to mean (I realize the developers are French), and doesn’t show anything in the widget. They removed a lot of features, including the original home widgets (which I and many others preferred to the “super clock” they’ve been pushing the last few versions). They also removed the ability to open a custom weather app — you have to go to accuweather.com in the browser instead. And high and low temperatures are backwards. They always have been (maybe it’s a French thing), but they used to let you optionally fix it so high is displayed first as it is virtually everywhere I’ve ever seen. They removed that, so you’re stuck with the backwards way. It also showed up as using 10% of my battery life today since updating this morning. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I hope they get it right, but it’s horrid for now.

It seems like I must be using a different version 5 than the rest of you. While the interface may have gotten easier to use, the functionality has gone way, way down. Many features have been removed, the new app crashes all the time, any (and all) skins have to be re-downloaded, the ability to link to a weather service other than accuweather has been removed, and the list goes on and on. I encourage anyone who is contemplating updating to (1) read the play store reviews, which are 95% negative, and (2) keep a Titanium backup of the old version and its data so you can restore if you have problems or hate the 5.0 update.

Is there a setting to have the temperature in the notification bar but not have the notification in the pull down? I like having the temperature visible but the new notification in the pull down is way too intrusive.

No. Beautiful Widgets widgets are hideous. The clock font and layout look like something an elementary school student would draw.

I enjoy watching level up studio screw up this app yet again, the reviews on the app always make me LOL WORST DEV SUPPORT EVER

EVERY time they update BW they screw something else up or break something else. I quit using this app so long ago and every time I hear about an update I’m like oh good let’s see what else they screwed up now! It’s rather amusing.

That app destroyed my battery while I used it. I had the screenshots of GSam battery monitor to back that claim up at one point.

Bar none the best thing about this is the Daydream it adds. If this app did nothing else but provide that daydream it’d be worth the price.

My temperature notification is broken through this update, and it is clear from recent reviews I’m not the only one having issues.
