I totally agree SD cards need to be a MUST. I mean i use my phone for many tasks and i have a HTC Thunderbolt with 40GB a in all with my internal and external memory, and i only have about 19gb left. I keep everything from music, photos, videos, and other things i certainly need the space. If I got the DNA a could really have to manage my storage usage!!

If you’re paying for those spikes of data for a few months within your contract that means you’re paying MORE $$ …. in my books that is NOT saving you/me/them money. This isn’t investing advice and dollar cost averaging only benefits the wireless carrier – not you.

Consumers should push back these carrier specific devices. generic devices(GS3, iPhone, GNote2) are always better in terms of accessories ,tech support and software updates. The carriers need to be shown where there place is

It’s both faster an easier if you want to show someone something, ie. a video of your child, if it’s in the onboard memory.

Just checked my storage on my phone to see how much I actually use….1 gig on the internal storage and 1 gig on the disk. The only music I have on it are songs I upload to make ringtones, the rest has to be pictures I’ve taken. So even 8G would probably do me just fine.

Tried to use it on my Thunderbolt a while ago to create a wifi hotspot and it didn’t work, read up on it and it said HTC phones don’t allow it…but I just read up a little and it seems newer phones do? Not sure if this was an old policy or had something to do with older versions of Android or what.

HD videos in 1080 eat a lot of space up in memory, like 10 minuts is 1+ gb in space. Not to mention with limited tier data people will eat it fast streaming music and HD videos. I use Tune in Radio for 2 hours a day every day and that alone uses 2 gb a month, just one app. Not to mention force closing Verizon bloatware won’t stay closed and it always turns itself back on to send data, on your dime, back to verizon.

I have a 32gig galaxy s3 with a 64gig card and I only have 9gigs of open space on my phone and more than half of my SD card is full different people have different needs

do you carry SD card all the time? r you going to sit around all day to listen all your MP3 on your phone? do you ever hear of laptop or cloud? come on….this is a fantastic phone and you guys are just being bonehead and expect everything has to be perfect..a phone is a phone…

until you really try it out next week or read the reviews later on, don’t jump on the wagon like others and say it’s bad when you don’t even know if it’s really bad..SD card? I don’t think you would ever carry one with you all the time…just transfer your files to laptop…or push them into Cloud…

yah i dont’ get those people also. my phone has 16gb and i got TONS of pics on my phone when i get lazy to transfer them and i still have tons of space left. MP3? what are they gonna sit there all day listen to all those MP3 on their phone? tsk…SD card?! I rarely use it….Battery is a bummer though

see what new technologies take us to….now phone is not a phone anymore, everyone now expects a SMARTphone needs to carry functionality as such and such. I don’t take tons of pics on my phone and i transfer everything to my laptop whenever i get a chance so and16 gb is enough for me. I don’t need SD slot cause I rarely use one..so I really want to know what you guys need all those spaces for, seriously… as far as battery life is concerned…yah that is a bummer…
