I got my Nexus 7 the first day it was available and use it all the time and love it. I sometimes think about all the things I was able to do with the $300.00 I saved by not getting an iPad.

I am sure that is the same thing that was said in general about Android after the Iphone was introduced but obviously that did not turn out the way Apple expected either. I work for a carrier and I have die hard apple fanboys now asking me about the GS3, so anything is possible.

I see your antidotal evidence and raise you my antidotal evidence. I don’t know anybody who has received one through their company or school. I don’t even know anyone whose school gives them to anybody, let alone the person i know. I also don’t know of any companies that use them. I have never been into any store that uses them.

Now, clearly some schools and businesses do use them and give them to students/employees i just don’t know of them nor have i ever seen them.

adrizzy…not very impressive. A wifi only tablet with limited initial distribution..North America, Europe and Australia. Wait until the 3g model is available and ships to South America, Africa and Asia. Then we can compare numbers. And it not the only Android tablet in the works to compete with iPad.

I just picked up my replacement about 24 hours ago. Didn’t want to spend the cash, but to fix the screen on the previous nexus was almost the same cost.

I’m no Apple fanboy (quite the contrary), but let’s put this in perspective: Apple has sold over 100 million tablets by now.
