Verizon will launch Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S3 alongside of the Samsung Galaxy S5 which will be available sometime between Christmas 2013 and Christmas 2017. Stay tuned!

Thats the predicament almost every smartphoner is in though. And when 4.2 rolls out, GS3 owners won’t get it before Note 2 owners just because they didn’t get JellyBean at the start, so they will be in the same position as Note 2 owners. And if I’m making a purchase and the Note 2 has JellyBean and the GS3 still doesn’t, I’ll be going with the Note 2.

I already have all these features on my verizon SG3. That’s why we root our phones and put Jellywiz on it! Although, I would like to see a more stable VZW version *ahem leaked ahem*.

I think when they first get it, they sit on it for at least a month or two, doing absolutely nothing with it. Then they merge all of their bloatware into it, this might take a few hours including testing. Then they might sit on it for another few weeks or so. Then push out the OTA.
