Good to know. I tapped it once and entered my PIN, and it asked me to tap again, and I think I just got scared it was going to try and charge me twice.

I just used it all on gas, since the only places by me that accept it are BP gas stations and 7/11, which are closing up.

My wife just did the same a few minutes ago with her GNex. No problem. I exhausted the balance on my prepaid card, and when I opened Wallet a minute ago a pop-up message said that the prepaid card is now cancelled, and when I hit the OK button it automatically removed the prepaid card from Wallet.

This article makes it sound like yesterday was the last day to use the pre-paid card balance. I was able to use my $10 Google prepaid card in Wallet to buy $10 of gas today during my lunch break. No need to request a refund.

I know it. I haven’t been able to use it in my home town because everyones machines are broken. Why don’t they fix them? I went to Philly recently and thought I would use it there, but the one chance I got I didn’t have service. There was a 10 foot dead zone around the register. I laughed and cried.

Device ID is the same as your serial number, which on my gnex is also in the about phone section. I hope this helps someone.

With a PayPass terminal the GWallet app will require you to tap the terminal twice. The first time you tap it, you enetr your PIN, it will authenticate, then tell you to tap it again. It will then wait for the transaction to go through on the other end (OTA, in the cloud if you will). It takes a few transactions to get used to it.

Google Wallet terminals are much easier. Just one tap, enter your PIN and you’re done. So far, in my town, I’ve only seen them in Radioshack and Babies-R-Us.

I went to Burger King and all their Pay pass machines were broken. They had to type in my credit card number manually.
