Yea….never looks brown unless I look at it closely under the florescent lights of the train….but I do kinda agree that if it doesn’t look it…its not. Because after all, color is defined by perception, and if the normal eye in the majority of lighting perceives it to be black…than it is black, because that is what the eye sees.

Actually you’re wrong. The Nexus 7 is brown. Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean its not true. Maybe you are more color blind than I am? Like I said earlier, its difficult to see because it is a dark brown. Its easiest for me to tell when I look at it in bright florescent light. Go look at it on display at a retailer and you’ll see what I mean. Anyway, Asus wouldn’t officially list the color as brown if it were black.

Wrong. The Nexus 7 is not brown, it’s black…doesn’t even bloody look brown to me. Maybe to you, but not to me. And don’t even think about telling me to get my eyes checked, my eyes are fine. lol

You can use USB OTG and linked folders to move apps to the USB drive (though that’s a bit more cumbersome than having them on the device. Source: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1910051

You’re right! A failure of reading comprehension on my part. In that event, you can leave your account linked to the old device as the Play Store allows you to log in on different accounts. I did this while my wife was briefly using an OG Droid.

I would just leave your account at the primary and just remove your gmail/email accounts (unless you suspect your wife might run up a big google play bill).

Paid apps will directly travel from device-to-device with your Google account. All of my Droid X-purchased apps are running great on my Galaxy S3.
