Samsung Releases Teaser for August 29 IFA Unpacked Event, All But Confirms Galaxy Note 2?

YouTube Preview Image

Samsung released a teaser for their August 29 Unpacked event at IFA this evening. The video all but confirms that we will be seeing the next version of the Galaxy Note, dubbed by many as the Galaxy Note 2. In the short clip, we get to see the S Pen in action, up close and personal on a touch screen. The focus is on being creative, inspiring, and the thought that anyone can do. So what does that mean for the Note 2? I’d say, we’ll see one of the most impressive displays ever put into a mobile device.

Cheers Timmy!

My first phone was Nokia Brick sized phone, and the size of a phone never bothered me. (thickness rather mattered in my pocket). after numerous classic cell phones, possessed two palms, Droid X, Charge, and S3 now, and what really matters is the SCREEN SIZE!!!.
    Let’s get this!

I think, kellex, you know more about this than you’re letting on…. I even feel like you know if it’s coming to verizon or not…

Either way, I do hope this comes to verizon. I will buy it in an instant.

Definitely interested in this phone. I don’t know why a 5.5″ phone sounds like fun, but I’m willing to give it a try.

      • http://AndroidTaskForce.com Timmy

I agree. If I do happent to get it, I can see all my friends at school say, Timmy…WTF is that? (See, my school is full of iPhones. I like to bring in a different kind of device. :P)

        • Knlegend1

They will cower in fear and then look at their little toy and cry.

          • http://AndroidTaskForce.com Timmy

I’ll make a bet with anyone. I bet you your phone will fit on my entire phones display. This is about to be an easy profit school year. :P

        Glad to hear:)

    • http://twitter.com/Dominick_7 Dominick S.

Heck yes! My feeling is, if they are making the S3 as the pattern for the Note 2, and the S3 released on all or most carriers at the same time, they may do it for the Note 2 as well?:O That would definitely be shocking to hear, for me at least. One can hope..Think this device will be magical though. Cannot wait to get my hands on it and will go to whatever service provider I need to, even if it means getting rid of Verizon and the unlimited. this time around.

  • yimengh

That was a pretty cool ad.

I thought so too. One of the better I’ve seen in some time from any OEM.
