uh, it has same screen res, but w/ bigger screen than rezound. couple that w/ fact it’s an oz. lighter. ppi is slightly behind rezound but better than gnex and razr. i was bout to buy rezound and still may, but this is intriguing. sounds like you’re trying to defend your purchase good sir.

The LG Dare was the best phone. Battery still last a week or more to date. My Wife still uses it today!!! HeeHee. Not a Gnexus like mine, but it is a great Dumb phone.

I don’t know why anyone would be screaming over this. It’s like a poorly built, less pixel per inch version of the HTC Rezound. I have a Rezound myself, and that screen is great. I got my dad the Galaxy Nexus, and the first few days when I set it up for him, I noticed the great screen on there, but sometimes there are bugs with weird colors and a blueish hue to the white, that my Rezound doesn’t have. Besides, NO ONE(except die hard LG nerds) will go for this. There is the Rezound, with great build quality, great usability of Sense UI for first timers, and great camera, and gorgeous screen. Then there is the G-NEX with Awesome AMOLED, ICS, Decent camera, and FAST, and slim. So, if you are a hardware guy, there is the Rezound. Software guy, the G-Nex, and RAZR, for in between. This is like the guy no one likes.

Good looking phone, but not an LG guy. Shame on manufacturers for still pushing gingerbread phones out when source for ICS has already been released. I get the feeling that there will still be many more 2.3 phones being released in 2012.

You know. Reading news of this handset it finally dawned on me. Android handset manufacturers are moving so fast and are all competing with each other at such a breakneck pace, that I don’t think they even consider what Apple is doing anymore. Apple moves so slow that they’re really not a part of the competition to consider.
