WP7 and even WP8 are bloated with way to much text data. It feels dirty with words and that makes it hard to focus for quick actions. I felt lost just looking at the start screen. Even more so as I feel deeper in to what seemed to be a never ending story book. Page after page of useless information that didn’t really seem to lead anywhere. No to mention the poor choice of contrasting colors, bad fonts and squares that make all the text data not worth the effort of reading it. I spent around 20 minutes doing the same demo over and over. There is but one conclusion I can’t seem to avoid. WP not only makes me sick just looking at it, but is with out a doubt the worst OS ever. Lets hope it dies a quick and painful death so we all can be spared it’s insidious appearance.

I am disappointed with Microsoft lately. They could do some really amazing things with all their market share. Is it a lack of talent at Microsoft? It can’t be a lack of means that’s for sure. I dunno, I really like Microsoft but come on step it up!

Don’t really care about WP7, but I think that’s one of the more impressive web apps I’ve ever seen optimized for mobile. I have a hard time thinking of a better one. I wish more developers would go the web app route rather than make a separate app for each platform.

the main thing that I don’t like about wp7 is the home screen layout. Those huge blocks they call tiles remind me of blocks my son plays with. There are only two rows and can’t change it to have more. Tjere is no way to really organize the home screen so that I won’t be scrolling up and down a lot to find what I’m looking for. And to try and organize the home screen is a chore. This whole idea still needs a major overhaul.

GoLauncher has a WP7 theme that basically turns Androids into WP7. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention this yet.

It’s a great improvement for Windows and it’s nice to see them thinking outside the box. It would take a while for me to transition from Android to Windows but I can see this as not a bad option for a new smartphone user. The biggest advantage Microsoft has is that they don’t allow phone manufactures screw with the experience, I would take Windows Phone over a bloated Android similar to the older Moto Blur used on phones like the Devour. I would also choose this over the iPhone, but it doesn’t compete with stock ICS.

Why doesn’t MS just turn this thing into a launcher and sell it on the Android market? They could/should even sell Zune integration. I would pay MS a couple bucks for a half way decent Xbox app. On a seperate note, if this thing was what people really wanted, a developer would have made a look-a-like rom for this by now. Just look at MIUI.
