hey J McClane i have the bionic but its bricked while trying to flash. I downloaded the files but on rsd lite they dont seem to register. can I change the file ext to gz or sbf because tar doesnt register. I tried several times but the phone fails to flash either at step 4 of 15 or 9 of 15. Does the battery have to be full or can it only be 50 percent. I have a baterry dock and two droid bionic batterys,,so im cool.

If you are rooted, removed some bloat (deleted) and do not have backups (oops) would this restore the bloat?

I will probably give myself about 2 or 3 weeks with stock before I root and start modding. I want my Bionic to know its roots and remember where it came from And I want to fully appreciate the switch from stock to root when I do so.

Here’s a smaller file that only flashes system, boot, and recovery, and erases cache and data. It takes you back equally as stock as the huge FXZ, but it’s 1/3 the size and goes a lot quicker.

This is only a last resort option if all else fails, like if it’s bootlooping and you can’t get into the recovery. Hopefully rsdlite will find the phone and reflash it to the stock firmware.

Correct. If you can boot into the recovery then you can just reflash a backup or another rom.
