I did not know that. Thanks! I'm not trying to put anyone down, I'm just curious. I just get bummed out when it really seems like we, as consumers, really only have VZN, ATT, TMO, and Sprint to choose from if we're serious about cell coverage and abilities. And judging by most of the responses, VZN seems to be the ONLY one worth fighting for. Maybe a large-scale consumer shift would do the telecom industry some good.

See I don't like the Bionic at all, I went to the store and played with it for a good 10 minutes and was completely unimpressed. Yes it was snappy, but a few minutes web browsing and the screen instantly turned me off. Plus I despise Blur or whatever they call it now. If it was 6 months ago the Bionic may have been up there but I've been sitting on 2 upgrades for almost a year waiting for something worth buying and I'm still here tapping my foot.

I honestly have no problem with the SGS II's not landing on Verizon. The bionic is miles ahead of what people are making it out to be and Samsung appears to have something on the way for us that should land by the end of the year. I'm pretty confident in the as they aren't really the delay artists that Motorola has become.

The only carrier that has a "true" unlimited in SPRINT, and we all know how sprints service is. T-Mobile is unlimited, but they do throttle you down when you reach 2g's They put that in the disclosures. What is so bad about CDMA honestly. I dont know why that would be a bad thing. Bloatware, well every carrier does that. When AT&T started selling Android devices, they blocked any installs of .apk's and forced you to use the market.
Hopefully the PRIME will live up to the hype and be the S2 for verizon.
You pay more for the best service, best coverage overall.
The building I work @ is an AT&T building, but yet verizon gets the best coverage in the building.

I've only been in the Android world for about a year now, and realize that this site seems to focus a lot around Verizon and its products/services. However, Big Red seems to be consistently letting the customer base down by a whole slew of things (higher prices, no S2, tier pricing increases, extensive bloatware, CDMA, etc). SO - why the loyalty? If a massive wave of tech-savvy people were to shift to TMO or Sprint, their increase in revenues would allow them invest in their networks. Verizon's 4G LTE may be fast, but who says the other carriers can't do the same once a grip of people move over? Maybe then, and only then, will Verizon actually start listening to sites like this one.......
