I would definitely have to agree there. I just love how that first OTA update for my Bolt actually made it function worse. You would think that SOMEONE out there for HTC would have to catch that…

LOL nothing wrong with a farm at all.Nice to have all that land. I just hop
the Bionic lives up to the hype. Too many problems from Moto lately and it’s
like we all are starting to get accoustom to issues with devices lately
becaus the OEM’s want to just throw the device out there and worry about
quality later. And, oh by the way, the consumer is left with OTA’s updates
to hopefully solve the problem.

Seems like quality went down since the OG Just saying

I don’t want to root. I mean…don’t get me wrong…I think the ideal electronic device should make you do extra work to get it to function like it was originally intended. *rolls eyes* Rooting also wouldn’t make it magically squirt out a physical keyboard, either or fix that god awful notification led that’s under the speaker grille that can’t ever be seen unless you’re in a black hole

Well…I’ve actually only had one TBolt replaced under warranty…that’s it. The rest were through Verizon. I would complain about the smallest little things when I paid for a new phone, but get sent a refurb. I was sent 2 OG’s that didn’t work directly out of the box and I even had a VZW rep open it and set it up in the store because I thought I was doing something wrong. And yes…I do live on a farm…but no livestock. Well played

Correct. Why spend all that money on a phone to do all that, when you’re in the middle of watching a movie with your buddies and your mother calls to tell you about what she ate for dinner that night or whatever. Poof! No movie. Or maybe your girlfriend that calls or texts you every 12 seconds when she’s not around, and your phone is up next to the 1080p TV vibrating away.

Let’s face it, almost EVERY device out there does Netflix now, and most TV’s now come with the ability to stream Netflix straight to them. It’s nice to have the ability to stream Netflix to your phone, and having the ability to mirror to HDMI is nice too, I just don’t see it being purchased and used for that reason. (see evltwn, I used it’s correctly… >.<)

Josh, i hear you, but it’s not Googles fault, it’s the OEM’s developing the
devices and only giving us a device that is not full 100% Google exeperince.
The OEM’s wrap thier bloatware and only give us the functionailty that they
want a peticular device to have.

Example: If Moto took the D3 and gave it a 4 or 4.5 inch screen Super
Amoled, 1gig or more Ram, all of the other basic features HDMI front camera
etc… 4glte Dual or Quad Core procesor 1.5 or higher great battery life
the option of Pure Google or the bloatware with the latest tech. They can
and would have a hit. Just think about it, the OEM’s are stringing us along
to profit off each device and giving us a crumb here and there.

Yes, new technology is always going to come out, but why not give us a
device that is packed with everything and will last for more than 6 months.
The OG fits this catagory!!!!

The one thing Apple does well is sell an experience, not a product. This is something google needs to have developers do. Not focus on the specs, but the experience the phone will bring.
I am eligible for my early upgrade this month…but I am holding off until the fall to see what devices come out. I do not like getting first gen phones.
