This method takes advantage of a hidden feature in the +Circles service, which allows invites to be sent to a list of email addresses of a user’s choosing. Pretty nifty, isn’t it? Here’s how to do it:

1. Create a new circle named “invite” and add email addresses to it. Keep in mind that the people you’re adding must have GMail accounts.
2. Create a post and assign it to the invite circle only. Be sure not to make it public to everyone, just members of the “invite” circle.

I got in and invited most of my ~550 Facebook friends, I just imported their contact info to yahoo then imported that to Google+ then put them all in 2 groups and posted something visible to both groups and that sent out ~550 invite emails!

(2 groups because I was getting a size limit error with one)
Most people I talked to got them but it took some people 5+ hours to get them, some still haven’t…
