So I downloaded it. Set up an account and started searching.

If I enjoyed these magazines this would be great, but the ones I particularly enjoy and always pick up a copy of prior to travel are not here.

I find tech magazines are incredibly hit or miss. Obviously if I read DL, AC, I expect Android over Apple Bias, but if I read something like PC Magazine I like to read objectivity (which I don’t see from them). I didn’t see any tech magazine’s that I enjoyed, but I also saw some that I haven’t seen.

The selection needs to be bigger before I consider this a “great” app, but it’s a good start. Some adult magazines would be nice for those company travel weeks .

… thanks to zinio for a OS independent magazine subscriptions. Still using 3.0.1 and if i go page one to page two i still have a txt render second, if i go back from page two to page one i don’t have this, so why no pre cache the next page? so i can go from page one to page two without and back with this render second, but maybe this is a 3.0.1 issue

I’ve been using this app for awhile, using the european apk on my old Galaxy Tab. I was surprised to see an actual market version when I got my Acer A500. The honeycomb version was pretty buggy at first, but has gotten better. The individual magazines are often like 5 bucks each, but usually for 10 or 12 bucks you can get a entire years subscription. Plus I have gotten 20 bucks worth of free credit from Zinio for doing surveys.

been using the app for awhile now. hoping there’s an update between last I used it and this posting, rendering text on it was crap, blurry, and largely unreadable. checking it now.

I take that back, looks like the new update as of 6/22 largely fixed the text rendering issue. good thing, I missed my zinio.

fwit: the prior version came stock with my Transformer I think. Might have been a beta.
