I just bought a thunderbolt and was surprised to find out that in some small but important ways, outside of lack of multitasking which is a moot point now and the cloud (soon to be a moot point), iOS 3 which I had on my previous phone the 3g was more elegant and streamlined. Another interesting point is that transferring music is best done by chaining HTC sync and iTunes (which I used to hate). There might be something I am missing but once iOS5 comes out the ball will be in Android’s court. In truth, Android’s victory was preordained but not because it is a better OS. It has more to do with it being free, and relatively open as opposed to Apple’s 4th reich.

Steve Jobs and all fanboys are the biggest freaking tools on earth. Apple sues every freaking company on every little thing and they criticize everyone. And those gay self righteous fanboys always pull the same lame excuse. It’s simpler more apps… well not any more. Now with widgets pull down notification bar and tabbed browsing this sounds a lot like android. I just hope this is simple enough and all the apple fan boys can understand how to use it now. So welcome to 2006 and get your head out of your a*s you apple fanboys. Apple claims they are hip and knows what the people want. Apparently not, now they are playing catch up. But some how they will contort their followers to believe they came up with these ideas first. This just proves in a world of doesn’t (being apple) Droid Does!

Lol, well guess what? I currently own an iPhone and im on Droid Life EVERY day, multiple times a day, more than any other site on the web. And i do it because i love Android and iOS both. I had the OG from day one, the Dinc, and the X before i switched to an iPhone and ive been commin to Droid life since Kellen was walking us all thru (holding our hands) rooting with DroidMod ….so….tell me why i cant come here? People need to stop being so narrow minded and just step back and look at the big picture. Tech is evolving at break-neck speeds with all the competition these days, and i effin love it! We all benefit from these competing companies, so just sit back,(take a die hard oath to a certain side if you must) but enjoy the ride and lighten up a little. I dont Love Android, and i dont Love Apple…i Love technology and everything involved. sorry for the ramble, be easy all

Can someone answer me this… What’s point of being first if something better comes out later? Isn’t it only great as long as you’re the only one with that product? I don’t understand why you would applaud being first if/when a better product comes out. Android doesn’t implement cloud services in the way the Apple is referring too at all! No where close! Android does’t own cloud services either, so yes you may giggle but I believe Apple customers would flat out laugh at the fact that they “one-upped” you at your own “game” by utilizing the cloud to the fullest potential we’ve seen to date!
