batteries are awesome! so awesome we’ve gone from late 70s/early 80s batteries that could get cars a 15 mile range, to ones today that can go ten times that.
it’s actually that use, transportation, that are eating all the good lithium. when you read about 150+watts specific energy for li-ion batteries, that’s true but that’s not what you’re getting. those batteries north of 150 (it’s up to about 275 now) are going into transportation, not laptops. **premium** laptop batteries are @ 150wh/kg, average ones from the sandy bridge era are still around 100. Yea current batteries suck, but you could get double your battery life if the car manufacturers would just let loose on the battery market some

Wow running the on board video card it runs longer maybe a extra 2-3 hours
max. The new bios helped alot for me.

that’s actually a lot of battery life for in game use. I get 4 hours from my M1330 XPS just surfing the web.. about 2 hours with last.fm playing through the speakers — that’s a couple gens back but without discreet graphics at all.

I can honestly say that this is awesome.
BUT…I don’t think I’d want to play a game like this on a personal device. On a tablet, it would be amazing, though.

I agree though, its a derivation of a clone, nothing new here. The kicker is that it will probably be emulated touch controls as well instead of playing to the device’s strengths.

Maybe because Qualcomm won’t have a quad core chip until end of 2012? And neither will most other chip makers, except Freescale, which I think powers the NGP.
