so is this like “jailbreaking” an iPhone? if so i wanna know how! I bought my htc Droid Incredible and so far it is hands down better than the iPhone and I’m in love with it! Could you nice men please help me?

over RC2, but i also cant receive phone calls. I am sure i wiped, always do. Oh well, just reverted to RC1 and all is good. I am gonna try some other ROMs, see what else is out there. Thanks though.

did you install over another rom? try wiping. i installed over the nightly but i wiped cache and dalvik

I tried the 2.3 on OMGB and with CM7 and I can say I’m not really impressed in general with 2.3 My best experience on my Incredible so far has been from Chingy with his Re-Engineered ROMs. I’m really surprised that his ROMs haven’t seen more light here. Especially his Z ROM Port….that thing is absolutely on fire.

On one hand XDA has ALWAYS been full of douchery. I personally remember when you asked a question and NO ONE responded. Even if you thought it was legitimwnt. Yeah, ok let me read through 6000 posts to find the one post that I need because EVERYONE has that much spare time *sarcasm*.
I only use that site for the apps because I know even attempting to ask a question is frowned upon.

I just installed RC 3 on my Incredible, and it a huge improvement. The camcorder was broken in RC 2. Now everything feels even smoother than ever before, and there are tons of fixes and improvements with the Market. Can’t wait for the final release!

The biggest problem I’ve had with CM7 was it’s aggressive process killing.
Couldn’t run anything in the background for more than a minute or two, really sucks when using music or security locking apps.
Have they fixed that yet?

It does have more features b/c no matter what BD says, he just takes the code from CM and adds a few things and claims it as his own. I used UD for over a year and always liked it but recently it was just too buggy. One feature would be added, one more thing would break. I’ve been running CM7RC2 for the past month and I’m not sure if I’ll go back to UD at all.
