i can say that the phone company and network put so much bloatware on your phone its crazy i freaking hate moto blur. I have an HTC Incrediable and i love my phone but then when verizon put all that bloatware on it when they did 2.2 it just draged my phone down if you put on my phone and i still dont use it then you should just give people the choice to have network apps or not

The Nexus One should have been the Verizon Droid. Now THAT would have been an iPhone killer. Who needed that silly Droid keyboard. I knew lots of iPhone users who would have switched if the Nexus One was available on Verizon. Very, very bad mistake on Verizon’s part.

I will have to say even more and more everyday non tech/geek people are checking out these sites now. So that being so hurts companies who want to lock down more and more their devices and make it less in a way user friendly. People as noted in someone else’s reply notice these lags etc from device to device as moto blur slows it down where as the nexus s runs smooth due to being a pure Google experience.

Oh man, I was just getting more and more pissed about bootloader locking, but now they want to make their own OS?

Seriously?

How far has the development team at Motorola tried to shove their heads up one another’s asses? No body (exaggeration there are some) purchases their android phones because of MotoBlur… I bought the droid 1 because 1) I’ve always purchased Motorola because their reliable and 2) it was running android, but not only android, stock android! Imagine that! PLENTY of people did that, so they see this and think “let’s start locking bootloaders and make a new OS to ruin the user experience!” Piss off, I’ll find another manufacturer that wants to let me OWN the phone I PURCHASE.

I am going to ty to be optimistic and hope the new additions moto supposedly now has will help them make better decisions and/or software for their future devices.
I will also say that I hope they don’t ditch android os and I completely agree with kellex on this. Hopefully this at least means a better blur or something.
