I am wondering, if I am using skype overseas and I am on my Droid and they are on computer is there a charge??

I agree, when is video support coming? The data plan is there. The hardware is there (Droid 5mp cam).

I guess I get it. At first I just understood this to be a good thing for people calling overseas. If I am understanding this… you can skype to skype someone and save minutes? Too bad almost everyone I know is on Verizon… or well… I guess.

I have a Skype account already so this is a welcome addition to my Droid!! Now if only they can get that official 2.1 update out so I can see if I want to un root or not!!

what about Skype video calls? I mean it would be hard for the droid cam…but will be able to see other ppls cam when they are on Skype?

this is a pretty nice little feature. i might have to encourage more people to get skype and skype-enabled smart phones so i can get some use out of this baby.

Who needs skype when u have google voice? I love it, I really use it all that much because most that I talk to use verizon so minutes aren't an issue.

I wish I could get excited about it. I just don't know nearly enough people who have smartphones that allow Skype, so this won't have much of an impact on me unfortunately.

Since I don't have an unlimited minutes plan, I really wish a few of my most-called contacts would get on the Skype train to make things easy for me.
