In a Q&A at CES with LeEco’s Kenny Mathers, GM of Product Marketing, we had the opportunity to ask what customers can expect in terms of software updates and tweaks for the lineup of LeEco smartphones.
According to Mathers, LeEco will “soon” send out updates that address a lot of the feedback they have received from US customers. For example, in our review of the LePro 3, there are a few tweaks that could be made to help US consumers feel a bit more at home on LeEco’s vision for an Android skin, such as an option for a dedicated app drawer, to name just one.
Mathers said, “We’re listening and we’re incorporating, and now we’re going to push out some updates that will please a lot of our users.”
We asked specifically where the best place to send user feedback would be and found out that the dedicated Feedback app on the devices, including LeEco’s television sets, are the absolute best place to provide criticisms. The feedback generated through those apps goes directly to LeEco’s engineers, making problems extremely visible to the company.
We didn’t receive a specific timeframe on when LeEco phone owners should be on the lookout for updates, but “soon” and “we’re listening” is a good start for a company that just broke into the US market.

I use leeco and not would recommend anyone to buy it ever.

Android Auto doesn’t work at all via connection to car.
It works flawlessly on my car, even sending “I am driving” message to caller if not answered.
So I’m.on the same page… android auto as connected to a Kenwood receiver and the AA app runs on my receiver vs. AA running independent on the phone. The latter works fine. The former does not. Tested against a nexus 6P. The receiver is not the problem.
It maybe receiver device compatibility issue but I can’t attest on that as I am using AA on the phone connected via BT. Some info shows up on my car’s display though like caller ID etc.
Unfortunately not. Its clearly not a device incompatibility issue and I reported it to LE. It force closes the Android bridge and there is no way that I can tell.to switch from.charge only USB connection to allow mtp communications with the receiver. I’m surprised this is the first its popped up in conversation. If I.connect the phone as you are indicating it.works fine. But that’s not why I bought this Kenwood though. Ill try to find a youtube link.

Thanks. I’ll post a youtube video to show what I’m referring to this weekend. I’m not worrying about it, as I’m using it only as a gaming device now.
Le Pro 3 has the fastest Android SoC for gaming right now plus excellent battery life. Oneplus 3T, Pixel and iPhone 7 were all put to shame… =D

I admit that the battery life is good and I’m impressed with the app switching ability. The UI is horrid and I did have to put Google now launcher on it. Great for Heroes. Blasphemy, I know, but my iphone 7+ is my DD and I would disagree. After eight years on Android I’m set on Apple. I will however root my le eco as soon as it’s reliable and shoot for paranoid Android or something else equally cool. I bought the phone primarily to use with Andromium and the new superbook kick start I opted into. http://Www.getsuperbook.com
No issue with Whatsapp or any audio/video chat apps. Check your provider APN settings. Voice is also excellent built-in and via earphone.
No update for the S3
They’re pushing out updates monthly in the US, according to product testers in their forums, so this is definitely good news.
The last update did fix a few. Issues. Hopefully the next update addresses the camera issues more

On tuesday I got a great new Land Rover Range Rover from having earned $8752 this last four weeks.. Its the most-financialy rewarding I’ve had.. It sounds unbelievable but you wont forgive if you don’t check it
