As for the real issue here, it’s actually pretty simple if you’re going to carry a dedicated camera and your phone. If I’m out somewhere and I know I’ll want to share pictures fairly quickly that I take with a dedicated camera, I carry a short miniUSB cable (or microUSB depending on the camera) and a USB OTG cable with me. With those, I can hook my camera directly up to my phone, import the photos I want, edit, and share away. It’s simple, quick, and I don’t have to compromise on camera quality or on phone quality (plus I can use any number of different devices).
