Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 14 Answers

Q&A

Here are your answers to Volume 14 of the DL Q&A Sessions. Clearly, a lot of you are focusing on the Moto X, which makes sense, since it was probably the most hyped Android device of the year. In addition, many Galaxy Nexus owners are looking to upgrade soon on Verizon, so we touched on which devices we could see land on the carrier, such as the One Max from HTC and the Galaxy Note 3. We got asked about our preference towards Yeezus or MCHG which is interesting, so give a look down below and see what the DL staff has to say on the matters.  (more…)

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 14

Q&A

We have been so tied up with new phones, traveling to and from press events, Android versions and other great news that we have been too busy to accommodate for a Q&A session. We finally get a breather this week, so it’s time for Volume 14! The Q&A Sessions are a chance for you, the reader, to ask any and all of the DL staff a question that has been on your mind. It can be Android related, somewhat personal, sports related or anything else you can think of.

We would love to share some thoughts on the Moto X, DROID devices and Nexus 7 tablet or maybe share insight as to what we can expect to see from Google in the last half of this year. It’s up to you, the readers!

On Friday, we’ll grab a handful of the best comments and let the team tackle them.

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 13 Answers

Q&A

Here are the Volume 13 answers from the Droid Life Q&A Sessions. On Monday, a good amount of you took to the comments section to get your questions answered, leaving us with lots of interesting inquiries, focusing primarily on Motorola, Nexus devices, and what the DL Crew finds themselves doing during the summer months. We love it when you get a little personal.

Down below, we go over why 2013 has been sort of a “slow news year” in terms of Android and devices, what we dislike about Android, if we could see a Google Play Video All Access service and a whole lot more.  (more…)

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 13

qanda

It has been a couple of months since we last hosted a Q&A session here at Droid Life, so with the summer upon us and a handful of incredibly important devices arriving in the near future, let’s get to answering some questions from readers. For those new to this ongoing feature, think of a Q&A session as your chance to ask the DL crew anything you’d like. Now, we’re not talking just smartphone or Android-related stuff either.

Sure, we would love to talk about the new “Nexus experience” devices that are arriving this week, new thoughts on Motorola and the Moto X, or if we are close to franchising our own Viva Movil, but you are also free to ask us about our summer vacations, what we plan to do without Game of Thrones for the next several months, or if Ron actually owns an Android device at this stage in life. We are open to it all.

On Friday, we’ll grab a handful of the best comments and let the team tackle them.

Sorry for the wait, but here are the answers to Volume 12 of the Droid Life Q&A Sessions. We answered a few on last week’s show, so if you’re looking for even more personal thoughts from us on some of your inquiries, then be sure to watch that.

There seems to be a lot of people curious as to what we can see at this year’s Google I/O. To be completely honest, that is what makes it such a great event. We go in, thinking we have some good clues as to what we can see, and then Google always surprises us with new goodies. It is always the numero uno Android event of the year.

There is a good handful of other topics discussed inside, such as our favorite smartphone cameras, which apps we use the most, as well as which features we might like to see kanged from various OEM skins and baked into Android. But enough talking, let’s get to it. (more…)
