DL Q&A Sessions: Volume 27 Answers

On Monday, we asked you to send in questions for Volume 27 of the DL Q&A Sessions. We got a ton of great questions, but have narrowed them down to just a few which our team has tackled.

From what you asked, it appears many of our readers are jumping ahead into the later part of this year, curious about what we should expect from other companies besides Samsung and HTC. You asked us our opinions on what LG is going to bring to the table, what we should expect from Motorola, and which company will likely surprise us the most in 2015. All of these questions and more are answered below.

Let’s get to it.  (more…)

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 27

We are back again for Volume 27 of the Droid Life Q&A Sessions. Now that MWC is here, and Samsung and HTC unveiled their plans for 2015, we may have a few thoughts on what we have seen so far. Feel free to ask any other MWC-related questions you have as well.

The Q&A Sessions are a time when anyone from our lovely, opinionated community can ask the DL staff whatever may be on their mind. This can range from Android-related topics, sports, food, or whatever else you may want to know. We are pretty open in terms of what we will share, so don’t be too shy. We don’t bite.  (more…)

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 26 Answers

On Monday, we opened up Volume 26 of the DL Q&A Sessions. Asking you to send in your questions, we got plenty of awesome inquiries concerning upcoming flagships, as well as plenty of more personal questions. It was a great mix of work and pleasure, and for that, we thank you.

Our main takeaway is that you all seem quite concerned with what the future flagships will bring in 2015. Now that specs seem to be plateauing in a sense, what will OEMs need to do to help differentiate themselves from the pack?

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 26

We are back again for Volume 26 of the Droid Life Q&A Sessions. Last time, CES was rolling up, but now that it has come and gone with very little of significance with regard to Android, it is time to push forward onto MWC and the long list of upcoming devices from various OEMs.

The Q&A Sessions are a time when anyone from our community can ask the DL staff whatever it may be that is on your mind. This can range from Android-related topics, sports, food, or whatever else you may want to know. We are pretty open in terms of what we will share, so don’t be shy. (more…)

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 25 Answers

We brought the DL Q&A Sessions back to life this week with Volume 25, giving you the chance to ask us whatever has been on your mind regarding Android and the holidays. We received a ton of great questions, then allowed the DL staff to go through them and give their thoughts.

Given that it is nearing the end of 2014, folks asked for our DL phone of the year, the best gifts we have received for Christmas, and what the specs would be like on our dream smartphone. It was a lot of fun going through these questions, so keep ’em coming!

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 24 Answers

Last week was too hectic to get our Answers up from last week’s DL Q&A Session, but don’t worry, we did not forget about it. We received a ton of great questions, as always, so the DL crew has gone over them and answered a few to the best of our abilities.

It seems there is still a lot of focus on validity of wearable technology, especially how it will integrate with current fashion standards. We were also asked our opinion on whether the Note Edge from Samsung will see much success. Our short answer? Nope.

Droid Life Q&A Sessions: Volume 24

There is always quite a bit to talk about during this time of year, as we continue to approach the launch of a new Nexus smartphone, and even a new Nexus tablet from Google. However, Google is not the only company readying products, as Samsung and HTC are also set to launch new devices in the US, with the Note 4 from Sammy and possible One (M8) EYE from HTC.

During our Q&A Sessions, this is the time you, the reader, can ask us anything that might be on your mind that has to do with Android, Google, carriers, or anything else that strikes your fancy. For example, do we think the recently leaked photos of the Nexus 9 are appealing? Will the Galaxy Note 4 be worth the wait? Is Google and Motorola’s Shamu device way too big?

On Friday, we will compile a list of our favorite questions, then let the team have at them. Until then, shoot your questions below in the comments section.  (more…)
