I HAD THE XYBOARD 10.1 FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS. PAID A HEFTY PRICE TAG. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A MOTO FAN. I HAVE BEEN WANTING THIS TABLET FROM THE FIRST I HEARD OF ITS RELEASE LAST SUMMER. BUT I HAVE TO SAY, A HUGGGGGGGE DISAPPOINTMENT. SO MUCH SO THAT I RETURNED IT AND WILL BE RECIEVING A REFUND.
THE TABLET FROZE MANY TIMES WHEN WATCHING NETFLIX, PLAYING ANGRY BIRDS OR EVEN TYPING EMAIL.
MOTO STAFF SOUNDED LIKE THEY WERE LOST WHEN I CALLED FOR HELP. SO I AM SORRY TO SAY THAT IS THE END OF MOTOROLA FOR ME. ALTHOUGH THE DROID RAZR MAXX IS PROBALY THE ONLY GREAT DEVICE I OWN, MANUFACTURED BY THEM.

I like the xy board but i am constantly losing signal & i live less than a mile from a tower…reeeeaaaally frustrating when you pay this kind of money for something & are locked in a 2 year contract & verizon dont want to do anything to let you out of the contract unless you want to pay $375 more to do so…i have been on the phone w/them 4 times already & nothing…….

Eric, Can you use the stylist on the OG XOOM? Would be nice if i could use Autodesk Sketchbook app to it’s fullest w/o using a crummy stylist off ebay

What other ~8in tablets are there? I played with the Droid XyBoard 8.2 yesterday, and I was very impressed with it. This should have been what they launched HoneyComb with, not the Xoom and Tegra 2. The WiFi Motorola XyBoards will probably get ICS before any of the Samsung Tabs do as well.

If I don’t see anything decent from MWC, there’s a good chance I’ll be buying the 8.2.

I have been waffling between getting a wi-fi tablet, or that kick ass Parrot AR.Drone remote control helicopter. I am kinda waiting on them to come out with an android controller for it. If they do, then I will really need to get a 4G LTE tablet to use as the controller, that would be a great combo.

Yep youre totally right man. Crappy screen. Even though EVERY SINGLE REVIEW praises the screen and even Kellex said it was good….its a Motorola which MUST mean its crap. Yep. I bet its *GASP!* PENTILE!

I have the 10.1 and love it. The battery lasts me a full day easy and 4g is a blessing. The screen is bright and crisp with fairly true colors. Also, the speakers are pretty decent too. No real complaints here.
