Monday Poll: The Most Important Smartphone Feature Today is…

We’re about to enter a period in smartphone technology where minimum specs are going to become more important than ever. There are so many quality options currently on and headed to the market that it has become difficult to decide which phone should be the next to grace the lining of your jean pockets. We see a lot of conversation over whether or not this AMOLED screen is better than that qHD screen and if this single-core processor can compete with that dual-core version. There are few phones out there that seem to completely satisfy every single one of your needs, but which one ultimately leads you to a decision?

What about battery life? I thinks that is the most important thing. You need the battery to: use the processor, look at the glorious screen, and access 4g network. We have come so far with these phones but it seems like we are still using batteries from the early 2000′s

I haven’t had any problems with HTC. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, as well as all of my other friends who have had or have an HTC.Well, one problem, battery life.

They might be the 2 best for hardware, but they are in a race to the bottom for software. Hardware doesn’t make it stutter, hiring actual monkeys to do your coding does. If you watch videos of the Atrix and the bionic, or use a galaxy S, they’re all stuttery and frustrating, while the nexus S and thunderbolt aren’t. No matter how fast your processor is, if the UI is being stalled out by bad coding, it’ll suck.

Everything else is advancing sufficiently for me (except Openness), so I chose Storage Space. Not as in removable storage, but the internal memory the OS runs on. Give us a couple of GeeBees to play with so we can have all the nifty features of Android without having to scrimp on apps we can load up, or shuffle off to the SD card.

i have only a few requirements,

1. 4.3 inch screen … bc this will be my tablet

2. 4g bc i will be using PDAnet like crazy.. cant beat free theathering

everything else is secondary bc im throwing Launcher Pro on it asap, 1gz processer is standard now most phones are not even taking advantage of single core yet so a dual core is not a requirement as of now. thats my list!!!!

No modern phone will have a “terrible” processor or screen, they are continuing to push the limits with both of these features, it’s not an issue. RIght now we are lacking in battery and high speed network availability.
