Tomorrow should be a fun day – you get to decide if you want to buy one of Samsung’s new devices, the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge, or the HTC One M9. All devices go up for pre-order starting tomorrow, but we’ll save HTC info for another post. Let’s talk now about how you can order one of Samsung’s new flavors.
Starting tomorrow, March 27, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will go up for pre-order in the US. The phone will officially arrive for sale on April 10. Here in the States, the S6 and S6 Edge will be available in Black Sapphire, White Pearl, and Gold Platinum. That means no blue or green, which is really too bad. Maybe Best Buy will get an exclusive on the blue model at a later date? Maybe? Please?
Carriers that will carry both the S6 and S6 Edge include AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon. Boost Mobile, Cricket, and MetroPCS will only carry the Galaxy S6. Samsung Experience Shops in Best Buy, as well as Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, and Walmart will also carry both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Samsung, as is typically the case, is leaving it up to carriers to confirm their own specific dates and pricing.
NOTE: We now have pricing, thanks to T-Mobile. 32GB Galaxy S6 starts at $679; 32GB S6 Edge starts at $779.76.
NOTE 2: We are tracking all US carrier pricing and availability here.
Want to get your hands on either device before April 10 to decide of pre-ordering is for you? At participating AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and US Cellular Stores, along with Samsung Experience Shops at Best Buy, you can get an “exclusive first look” starting tomorrow. In other words, if you are interested in these phones, get your butts into the big flagship stores near you.

I will be constantly calling Verizon today to get an 4 month early upgrade. I am not paying full retail for this expensive phone, I know they will try to talk me into switching to edge and give up my unlimited data.
$100 for the curves? Really? I can get a moto e for that amount.
The demand for the S-6 is huge so huge that all the other manufacturers are worried. The S-6 is going to sell like hotcakes.
Me On April 10th Buying 128GB The S6 Edge @ T-Mobile
Michelle Obama?
Ooh..well that wasn’t nice.
Will samsung sell the non carrier version….im with AT&T, but i prefer the unlocked versions of phones that are free of carrier apps, and markings.
I wish I could get the Edge in blue. But not only is the color exclusive to the regular S6, it’s not even coming to the states (at least not at launch). Oh well.
Nope, not gonna preorder. Gonna use my patience, wait a month or two, and get a slightly used one re-sold from one of you schmucks for 3/4 of the price 😉
cricket users will have to pre-order at&t models I’m assuming?
Decisions, should I get the SEdge or wait for next Nexus or just get the SEdge then jump and buy the next Nexus…
Next Nexus is almost a year away. Not much of a comparison there. Just buy the Edge and sell it when you’re ready to move on.
That’s why I’m thinking, that camera and the Edges are worth it, install G Launcher and good to go.
Get the Galaxy S6 Edge on Verizon Edge.
Should only be $80/mo for 2 years for the 64gb edge plus actual service.
Very excited about them having the devices in stores from tomorrow. I don’t pre-order devices specifically because I need hands on time first… But this may change that.
And I knew the US Carriers would SHAFT US with the colors. I’m still holding off for a international… Or just US unlocked variant though.
was really looking forward to the emerald edge too…
Why are they withholding the Edge pricing still? Anxious to see if it will really be the full retard $300+ on contract. Needs to be 64GB minimum if that’s the case.
I’d assume. Why price it the same? Note Edge was $399. (Lol)
They’ll make the blue and green models available in 6 months to revive interest in these phones.
Yep. Everybody knows it’s coming, yet they’ll all complain because they’ve already bought a different color.
I’m gonna preorder a Startac
Do we know if all storage sizes will be available as well? Or does that depend on the carrier?
We don’t know. But knowing the US Carriers.. Probably just 32
