  • The app looks great on the Mac, but there’s still bugs that need to be worked out. I’ve had it close several times when trying to select the device to send the file to and it takes up a pretty large chunk of memory.

  • This is one example of why a closed, tightly nit software ecosystem works so well. That’s freaking polished.

  • Definitely excited for that second bullet point. It was really annoying having to open the pushbullet app in order to send a link quickly.

  • What does pushbullet get you that the share menu in all the apps doesn’t? Convincing me might be like me trying to convince folks that tivo was better than vcrs when it first came out. I don’t get it.

    • It’s like automatic sharing. I get automatic pushes from APK Mirror via Push Bullet so there’s no searching. There’s actually quite a bit that you can do.

      • Ah, so maybe it’s a little like RSS for stuff besides blogs? You can subscribe to various services? Ok, I might have to give it a look.

        • On top of what Christian said, you can also mirror notifications across devices. I have a personal phone and a work phone so I can mirror my notifications from my work phone to my personal phone while I’m out of office in case an important call or text comes through. It’s pretty amazing.
